PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASSES
The Pre-K program provides a nurturing environment that supports the whole child. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to develop social, academic, fine and gross motor skills while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and independence. The program emphasizes kindness, respect, responsibility, and cooperation. Our children grow in their understanding of God’s love while learning to care for others.
We proudly use the Heggerty Pre-Kindergarten Phonemic Awareness Curriculum to build early phonics and pre-reading skills. We also focus on each childs social and emotional development as well teaching and introducing foundational math concepts. To further enrich learning, our teachers integrate hands-on STEAM activities that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and a love of exploration.
Our goal is to thoughtfully prepare children for the expectations of kindergarten by fostering both readiness and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. Teachers work closely with families to assess each child’s developmental progress and support parents throughout the kindergarten readiness and application process.
Students attend music classes on Wednesdays, chapel on Thursdays, and bring a packed lunch each day.
