PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASSES

The PLC Pre-Kindergarten program provides a comprehensive student approach to learning. The curriculum focuses on the social, academic, fine and gross motor skills in a faith based environment. Our program utilizes the Abrams Letter People curriculum which stimulates young children to learn phonics, early reading skills, social skills, and math facts through interactive puppets and songs.  In addition to this curriculum, our teachers incorporate a variety of hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities to ignite the spark of curiosity in our young learners.

 

Our Pre-Kindergarten program strives to prepare our children for the rigors of kindergarten by arming them with a true love for learning! Our teachers are always happy to assist  parents in assessing their child's readiness for kindergarten and applying for kindergarten.

Children in this class attend music on Wednesdays, chapel on Thursdays and pack a lunch daily. ​

​

All students in this program must be toilet trained prior to the start of the school term.
